Puppy Classes

Our 5-week Puppy Training Class is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation for your puppy’s development. For puppies aged 10 to 23 weeks and requires proof of both DHP vaccinations. Held in small groups, the course ensures personalised attention and the best possible support for each puppy.

The class cover a range of essential skills such as:

Basic commands such as sit, lie down and stand
Recall training
Loose lead walking (heel work)
Socialisation with the other puppies and equipment
Veterinary handling and grooming
Food manners
Limited class sizes to ensure you get the most effective training and support
And much more essential skills!

Venue: Paws and Play Dog Daycare, Weston-super-Mare
Schedule: Sundays - Class 1 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM

The classes really Helped with Dora’s reactivity & Maddie was so helpful and even stayed with us after a class to help with Recall training. My partner and I have just finished Maddie’s five week puppy course. We couldn’t recommend it enough. The course covers loads of basic training and commands. Maddie passed on her knowledge on different breeds of dogs which were in the group, along with enrichment and mental stimulation games for puppies.

Maddie also stayed 30 minutes late after her puppy class to teach me and my partner how to safely cut our puppy’s claws which we really appreciated.

Would 100% recommend Maddie’s Pawfect Pooches for puppy classes and any other services, it’s very easy to see her passion for dogs

Maddie is an enthusiastic teacher and trainer, yet a calming influence on all the pups. We enrolled Finley for a second round of puppy classes to help with more training and socialisation, which with Maddies guidance we achieved. These sessions have helped both Raven & Taliah with their walking, settling down at home as them being siblings can be a bit of a handful; and with their socialisation. What on earth are we going to do on Sunday mornings now!!! We have so enjoyed attending Maddies Puppy Course.
