Pawfect community page

Take a look behind the scenes at what Kaiser and I have been up to in the community, from supporting meaningful causes to spreading smiles and making a positive difference wherever we go.

The Beach Lawns Carehome:

Kaiser and I volunteer at a care home, where we regularly visit residents to support their mental wellbeing and bring comfort, companionship, and happiness through the presence of a friendly dog. Our visits often brighten the residents’ day, giving them the chance to spend time with Kaiser, share stories, and enjoy his gentle, loving nature. Kaiser absolutely loves visiting too—he soaks up all the affection and attention from the residents, and of course never says no to his favourite treats of ham and cheese. It’s a rewarding experience for both of us, and wonderful to see the smiles he brings to so many faces.

Weston college - Animal management:

I had the honour of returning to Weston College as a guest speaker for the Animal Management students during their Careers Day event.

As a former student of the Level 3 Animal Management course, it was incredibly rewarding to come back and share my journey. I spoke about my business and career as a canine professional, with the aim of inspiring students to see what’s possible with hard work and dedication.

It was a fantastic day – the students were engaged, curious, and full of great questions. I thoroughly enjoyed giving them a glimpse into the world of working with animals and hope they left feeling motivated about their own future paths.

Makaton Christmas video - Ali Makaton Tutor:

For the past seven years, I have proudly taken part in the annual Christmas Makaton video created by Ali Makaton Tutor, a wonderful Makaton tutor in North Somerset. I have achieved both my Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications in Makaton, and it has been an incredible tool that has taught me the importance of communicating in different ways with different people. Being able to connect through signing is such a valuable skill. In December 2025, Kaiser joined me for our video submission, which made it even more special. A huge thank you to Ali Makaton for the training, encouragement, and for giving me such an amazing gift—the ability to communicate through signing.

Weston Rotary Charity Dog show:

For the past three years, I have proudly taken part in the Rotary Charity Dog Show, helping to raise money for a range of wonderful charities. It is always a fantastic day—not only because of the support it brings to important causes, but also because it brings together a community of dog lovers and their pets. It’s a joy to meet new dogs, watch the special bond between owners and their companions, and see them enjoying quality time together, whether that’s taking part in classes, socialising, or simply being part of such a positive and uplifting event. It’s a truly rewarding experience that celebrates connection, community, and the happiness that dogs bring to people’s lives.
