My name is Maddie, and I am the founder of Maddie's Pawfect Pooches, a well-established dog training business based in North Somerset. 

Since launching in 2023, I have been dedicated to supporting dogs and their owners through positive, tailored training solutions that truly make a difference.

I am currently in my second year of studying for a BSc (Hons) in Canine Behaviour, working towards becoming a qualified Canine Behaviourist. I am a fully certified dog trainer, hold a Pet First Aid Certificate, and have achieved a *Level 3 BTEC in Animal Management (Distinction)**.

My specialist areas include working with rescue dogs and reactivity cases, helping dogs overcome behavioural challenges with compassion, patience, and evidence-based techniques. In addition, I offer bespoke puppy training programmes, designed to provide your puppy with the best possible start in a fun, positive, and engaging environment.

My passion lies in helping dogs feel safe, confident, and understood—no matter their background or behaviour. Whether you're navigating early puppyhood or more complex behavioural challenges, I’m here to guide and support both you and your dog every step of the way.

With over nine years of experience in the animal care industry, I have worked as a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) and volunteered across various sectors, gaining hands-on experience with farm animals, exotic species, and rescue dogs in shelter environments.
